HSF has two self learning programs available to the public: Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada’s Family & Friends® CPR Anytime®, and Infant CPR Anytime® kits. These kits are designed to allow users to learn the basic skills of CPR and AED use as well as relief of choking skills anywhere, from large group settings to the comfort of their own homes.
These “all-in-one” learning kits are designed to be shared among close family and friends. For every kit distributed, it is estimated that 2.5 additional people learn how to perform CPR. In fact, some CPR Anytime® programs report that as many as 7-8 additional people per kit learn these lifesaving skills.
Both CPR Anytime® kits teach CPR using research-proven “practice while watching” technique, which allows users to watch and learn lifesaving skills while practicing on a personal mannequin. These fully bilingual (English/French) kits help extend lifesaving knowledge to more people.
Completion of the CPR Anytime® kit does not result in receipt of a course completion card.
Learn how to save a life in 20 minutes with either of these CPR Anytime™ learning kits. Order your kit today and be prepared to save a life tomorrow.
Both the Family & Friends® CPR Anytime®, and Infant CPR Anytime® kits are available for order through Laerdal Medical Canada Ltd. Orders can be made online through www.laerdal.ca or by phone at 888-LAERDAL (523-7325).
